  1. I am trying hard to convert my sister as well as my teenage daughter. My daughter is about 50% converted but she likes tampons (I don't understand why) so it's hard to change her completely. My sister feels the same way I do about throw away pads. I have told her all the benefits and she is willing to try so I would donate this one to her to try if I win it:)

  2. I haven't converted anyone but I switched to cloth when the whole moldy tampon fiasco happened a month or so ago.

  3. I haven't converted anyone. I'm just starting to make the switch myself. I learned about cloth through the Great Cloth Diaper Change store participants and browsing their selections.

  4. I have converted many people to cloth. I first discovered cloth pads via Jaine Raine in Glastonbury almost twenty years ago when tracking down a menstrual sponge. She had white pads from Ganmil at Bridgewater and I duly saved my pennies and got some from her and later more from the Suma catalogue. Then Many Moons from The Carrying Kind ...and once I got the internet it blossomed even more and I ended up selling Pleasure Puss from Nadia at Menstruation.com.au ...

  9. I am fairly new to cloth, just experienced my first period with cloth pads last week. I know I can never go back to disposables now! I found out about cloth, specifically Tree Hugger cloth pads through diaper swappers, and I am so glad that I did!

  10. I just discovered cloth this year, but I think I just converted two friends, maybe four. I wish I had made the discovery years ago, but I'm happy that it is becoming such a cute and comfortable option now.

  11. With our baby now I have been using cloth diapers for all of the reasons we know are good, health, environment, cost-savings & not having to run to bloody Walmart in a blizzard only to forget my coupons :) Then I realized, helllooo what about me and being at the mercy of disposables. So I gave it a go and so far (first time using AS I TYPE! SORRY TMI!!)they are awesome. Wish I knew about them 20 years ago!! Thanks to the internet and facebook which is how I compared products and the amount of 'Likes' and reading comments (did the same with cloth diapers) I took a chance. So happy I did.

  15. I am new to cloth pads. I had an allergic reaction to disposable pads after childbirth and searching online for an alternative. I first heard about cloth pads on a baby website forum and then read all the fabulous reviews about Treehuggers, decided to give it a try. I have told one friend about cloth pads but have yet to convert!

  16. I actually kept hearing about mama cloth on Diaperswappers and honestly was grossed out, But After trying unpaper towels, I thought to myself what a difference my carbon footprint would make if i would just try it once. The first time i tried them i was hooked. No more cramps, no more itchy scratchy feeling, no more crinkly sound using a public restroom. Now the problem is my stash, I need more :D

I am very close to convincing one of my nieces.....it's funny though, because I was surprised once I started talking about using cloth, how a couple of my friends shared they use Diva cups....so I bought one, but haven't tried it yet, since I love my cloth so much.

I wanted to see if there were other options besides disposable pads. I decided to look on Hyena Cart (as I had already been looking there for cloth diapers) and found Tree Hugger! I love your products and will never go back to disposable pads!
