Earth Day Give-a-way #2! Pink cows pantyliner

Happy Earth Day!  To enter to win a FREE minky topped pantyliner in the pink cow print pictured on Facebook please post your opinion to this blog post.

Are matching snaps (as in they match the fabric top or bottom) important to you?  I know that Tree Hugger is one of the few (maybe the only) pad makers that match the snaps almost exactly on each and every pad.  For many reasons I am looking into cutting back to black and white snaps.  What if I keep matching colored snaps for custom orders only?  What if custom orders had a small increase in price over in-stock pads but they will have the colored snaps?  Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated as I try to find the best way to keep up with demand without sacrificing the quality of Tree Hugger Pads.

The winner will be drawn Tuesday morning.

  1. coloured match snaps looks nice but i don't personally care what colour my snaps are as I am the only one to see them. So for me it really doesn't matter :)

  3. Matched snaps are nice but I really don't care. as long as the pad works, life is good!

  4. Matching snaps wouldn't matter to me, but for customs I guess the option would be nice!

  5. I like the matching snaps, but wouldn't mind just black or white. Afterall you don't see them when snapped under panties

  6. Matching snaps look pretty but wouldn't sacrifice quality just tor the loom of snaps. I wouldn't even waste all the time personalizing orders as you so kindly do but that's the beauty of your company!!

  7. Black/white snaps are fine and matches most of the prints well. Colored snaps for custom orders would be great!

  8. I love that the snaps match the minkee/fleece. Although I can understand that there is no real reason other than asthetics to have them match, I personally would be willing to pay extra for colour coordinating snaps on a custom order. :)

  9. I do not really care about snap colors or if they match for cloth pads so black/white is fine by me.

  10. Matching snaps is not important to me. It would all depend on how much money you would be saving. If it's a small amount, I would not sacrifice the snaps matching, because some women will be bothered by mis-matched snaps.

  11. I think black or white snaps would work just fine...you could offer colored snaps for a price upgrade for custom orders.

I enjoy how pretty these are...I kinda feel like I am collecting these for a hobby. lol

The fact that you do make the snaps match and everyone else just offers black snaps is what sets you apart from the rest.

I was honestly surprised that the custom orders didn't have a price increase.

One thing I do love is how low the shipping cost is. I sometimes don't even order stuff because the shipping charge is outrageous. But with mama cloth it makes it so afforable to make several orders through out the month.

  12. Black and white is a good standard, making custom orders even more of a treat with matching colors. But how about also offering some cheaper options/combinations for in-stock pad sets (for those of us who order from overseas and have to deal with certain limits in purchase price)? Your company should get an "Earth Day" prize!

  13. If it was a diaper I'd say yes they need to match. But since they are mc and no one sees them but me I'm all for the black and white.

  15. Absolutely not important to me. White or black would suit me fine .. I'm not really picky even about my minky colour ... but that's just me. I love what you do! Happy Earth day to all :)

  16. I feel the same. Your pads are so wonderful it doesn't matter if they match or not! They are the best I have used hands down:)

  17. I don't think it really matters to me. The option to have matching snaps would be nice if I was doing a cute rainbow selection or something.

  20. I personally don't care if the snaps match perfectly, going with a generic color makes no difference to me. Who in the world will see them?? hahaha

  21. Matching snaps look really nice. Would I pay more for them? Probably not. Snaps aren't quite as important to me as absorbancy. =}

  23. I think that is fair. Then you can sell your in-stock maybe a little sooner while working on custom orders. PS: first time using right now and they are so comfy! Added bonus no 'crinkly' sound when changing in public washroom!

PS: figured I should post where the contest says I should :)

  24. I love the matching snaps, but I wouldn't pay more to have them and I'd still buy yours pads without them :)

  25. I dont think matching snaps is a big deal, I like when they match but if they dont it doesnt make it a yes or no decision when it comes to purchasing.

  26. I don't pay attention much to the snap color. I don't think it would be a big deal to go with a few colors that coordinates with many prints.

  28. Coloured snaps are fun, but so is black and white if used the right way. My bathroom is a vintage blue with a white trim and I love the contrast.

  30. I don't give a hoot about matching snaps. :P I am a super frugal gal, so I think making the stock ones with black or white snaps and colored snaps with custom orders is a wise, economical choice. I appreciate it!

  31. black & white doesn't bother me at all

  32. Matching snaps is cute. But it is all the colours and prints of fabric that are like a personal cuteness supply to counteract AF. Having only black or white snaps would not turn me away.

  34. I like your idea of customs having matching snaps and in stock have black or white. That way if someone really wants matching they can have it and for people like me who don't care what color the snaps are we have that option as well. I'm all for saving money and I know every little bot helps :)

  35. I like matching, but if it costs more, I can definitely live with non matching. LOL Like above people mentioned, I am the only one that really sees them. :)

  36. As long as the snap snaps I don't think it matters.Besides, they are worn under clothes and not as a fashion statement so as long as they are functional I don't think it matters!

  38. I don't mind black or white snaps. Matching snaps on pads are a nice touch but I personally would not pay extra for them.

  39. Colored snaps are a nice little touch, but it wouldn't make a difference to me if they were just black and white. I wouldn't pay extra for them and would just as soon have the B&W rather than have the price go up to accomodate matching snaps.

  40. I don't mind if they match or not...some of my pads have snaps based on the type of flow they are..white for light days, pink for regular, and red for heavy. Then you don't forget which is which. I actually love that. I don't know if that is stealing an idea from another maker..

  44. matching snaps are nice, but really not that necessary. I would keep them for custom orders, and other than that stick with black and white

  47. I prefer the matching snaps to be honest. It would not stop me from purchasing your mama cloth products however, the matching snaps just make them look so much nicer!

  48. I think black or white snaps is fine.. colored ones would be a cool add on for customs though.

  49. I definitely think black and white snaps would be fine. I think even for custom orders, black and white would be fine. White snaps suit most fabrics and for the darker fabrics black is great. I often don't even notice the snaps, I care more about the fabric type/pattern.
